The Murray State Speech & Debate Union invites you to our annual Dean’s Debate showcase, held each year to recognize the support we receive from the Bauernfeind College of Business. The showcase will spotlight performances from our nationally-acclaimed and highly decorated team of competitors. 

The event will be held Thursday, November 6th at 7 pm in the auditorium of Wrather Museum. Doors open at 6:30 pm. The event will conclude by 8:30 pm.

The showcase will highlight an assortment of original speech performances designed by our competitors to critique, inform, persuade, and otherwise engage societal issues and current events. 

Additionally, a debate will be held over the topic: Childhood literacy should be the number one concern for schools K-12
