Bill Builders: A Showcase at the Capitol

At the end of February, Murray State’s Speech and Debate team traveled to Frankfort, KY to network with our state legislators. The SDU and the legislators had the opportunity to debate and it was a great time!

Legislators

Colonel Pamela Stevenson

Colonel Pamela Stevenson (D) currently serves as the Minority Leader of Kentucky’s House of Representatives. She served the U.S. Air Force for 27 years and was elected to the Kentucky House of Representatives in 2020. She represents district 43, which includes Louisville.

T.J. Roberts

T.J. Roberts (R) is a current member of the Kentucky House of Representatives. He engaged in politics at a young age and assumed his current position in 2025. He represents district 66, which includes part of Boone County.

Daniel Grossberg

Daniel Grossberg (D) has served for the Kentucky House of Representatives since 2023. He served in the U.S. Army from 2006-2007 and began his political career as a member of the Jefferson County Commission in 2015. He currently represents district 30, which includes Louisville.
